All donations to Christchurch Twestival go in the draw to win a Search Engine College Certification course.

Search Engine College (SEC) is an online training institution offering instructor-led short courses and downloadable self-study courses in Search Engine Optimization and other Search Engine Marketing subjects.

The courses are offered entirely online, to be taken at a student’s own pace, in a time-frame that suits them. You have the choice of taking a tutor-led Certification course, where a tutor is assigned to track your progress, grade your assignments, give you feedback and award formal certification should you qualify; or a self-study course, where all assignments and  activities are to be self-graded and no certification is awarded.

SEC courses are open to persons worldwide and currently have registered students from over 30 different countries.

What is Twestival

Jennifer Connolly in charity: water PSA

By rallying together globally, under short timescales, for a single aim on the same day, the Twestival hopes to bring awareness to this global crisis.

charity: water is a non profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations by funding sustainable clean water solutions in areas of greatest need.

Right now 1.1 billion people on the planet don’t have access to safe, clean drinking water. That’s one in six of us.

Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease, and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.

Many communities in developing nations often have a plentiful supply of clean drinking water just below the ground, but no way to get to it.

Thanks to the generosity of EF/AVHHF all donations and ticket sales are being matched through March 25 up to $100,000.

100% of proceeds support Concern Worldwide
